Galatians chapter 5: 1- 6
Here Paul is preaching about the freedom in Christ that us who know Jesus Christ as our Savior enjoy but he is also warning us not to misuse our freedom.
There are two camps in the Bible believing world who have misused the freedom we have in Christ. Three if you count a group which is not in the Christian camp. Let me explain that one first to get it out of the way.
Some churches and American Christians as I call them instead of Bible Christians believe and preach one can get right with God by doing good works. They must have rejected or don’t know what Ephesians 2:8-9 says. Let me remind you what it says it is by grace you have been saved through faith not by works so no one can boast. The only way to be saved is to admit your need for Christ and to receive him through faith. Now lets move on to the two camps who are in the Christian world.
Here Paul is preaching to a group that is teaching it is Christ plus circumcision that one is saved by. This is not a teaching on weather parents should circumcise their kids now I have mixed feelings on circumcision from what I have studied on it is painful but lets not get on that rabbit trail . If you are depending on circumcision to save you or your child you are not reading or obeying the Bible. Do some people in the Christian world do that today> Lets look at how some Baptize infants. There is nowhere in the Bible you can find a baby being baptized. Now if you are having your child baptized because it is a thing your church does and it is more like a time to pray for the baby and the parents I have no issue with that. However if you and your church believes that will save your child you are not getting that idea from the Bible. It is Jesus only that saves one. It is not Jesus plus something good that saves us.
Now the next camp which has misused our freedom in Christ is those who have turned our freedom in the right to sin and live anyway you want to even if it is a sinful life. Now I don’t agree with the teaching Lordship salvation but those who teach that doctrine have been right to preach that followers of Christ may fall into a mud pile but we shouldn't live in a spiritual mud pile. Also it looks like verse four here is teaching you can lose your salvation. My Bible college teacher has taught me you don’t base your doctrine on one Bible verse. Paul here I believe is not teaching you can lose your salvation rather he is teaching we shouldn't use our freedom as the right to sin. Some have confused freedom and sin. I heard this man on the radio tell a story he was on the street and he saw a man who was drunk and he asked the drunk man if he wanted to receive Christ. The drunk replied give up all this freedom. Sin is not freedom but bondage. The drunk had confused bondage and freedom.

Jesus or the Ten Commandments
Sunday, July 11, 2010
Galatians 3:1-14
A. Who are the rightness? We get the idea today that the rightness are people who have done super things but here the Bible tells us the rightness are those who know Jesus Christ. Those who have put their faith in Jesus to be their savior.
B. We need to take the true gospel to people. Too many churches and believers aren't doing this. We are waiting for them to come to us or to our churches which may never happen. Romans 10:17 says. Some people are going to churches that preach a false gospel. The true gospel is we all have sinned and come short of God’s glory. Christ died for us and rose to justify us. Who ever will call on Jesus to forgive their sins will be forgiven.
C. Often today you will hear something like this we are all children of God. That is not Bible. It would be Bible based to say we all creations of God but we are not all children now we can all be his children by receiving Jesus as our Savior.
D। The law the ten commandments were given to us not to save us. I heard this speaker who is big on the pro Lordship salvation side which I won’t get into now say the law is the best thing God has given us. I am sorry that is not correct. The ten commandments were given to us to show us our need for Christ. Lets says you are having some kind issue with a part of your body and you go to the doctor. He takes a x-ray . Does the X-ray solve your problem or taken away the pain nope it just shows what is wrong. So are you going to say I am so glad for the X-ray machine because it solved the problem you might be glad because the x-ray machine showed the problem but I am sure you are more thankful for the meds the doctor gave you or the cooperation he performed you because those things more likely solved the problem . The x- ray machine just showed what the problem was. It is the same with the ten commandments they just show us our spiritual problem that we are sinners. They don’t solve the problem or take away our sin.

4th of July and True Freedom
.jpg)
HAPPY 4th of July: Well it is the day we celebrate the birthday of America which many of us believe is the greatest nation in the world। America has been blessed by God in many ways but sadly there are things wrong with America that needs to be changed। So how can we see America changed? What can I do to see that happen? What can you do? First off the answer is found in God’s book the Bible. Besides using the Bible for today’s broadcast I am going to use a letter that was written by Rev. Charles Stanley some of you may know of him through the In Touch Broadcasts TV and radio. So what can we do to see this nation brought to God or brought back to God. First off we must return to the word of God. Is it any wonder that the government schools have gone downhill since they took the Bible out of the classroom. The Bible will keep you from sin or sin will keep you from the Bible. Just look how so much sin is going on in these schools. Today students are being given condoms, drug use, crime is going on. However the problem is not only with the government schools but even churches here in America have forgotten the Bible or even rejected it’s teaching. Second we must go to God the father in prayer.
1 Timothy 2:1-2. The leaders of our nation are in the hands of God. We must pray for all of our leaders including those we don’t agree with or didn’t vote for, for example as many of you who have watched my other videos know I didn’t vote for or am I a big backer of President Obama। However every Saturday and many other days I pray for President Obama. No praise to me praying for those we don’t agree with is simple Christian Bible based faith. Third we must stand for the Lord. Romans 1:16 tells us not to be ashamed of the good news. Well there is what we need to do to see this nation start going the right way so are you going to do those things? I hope so. One other thing today we are going to have a birthday celebration for our nation which we should because we are a free nation but not every soul is free in this nation. Gal. 5:1 Christ set us free. True freedom is spiritual and that freedom can only come through a relationship with Jesus.

What Kind of Judgement will you Face
Sunday, June 27, 2010
Galatians 2:6-9
A. God doesn't look at people the way we do. God isn't going to judge people the way we do. The way we judge others is by how they look, how they dress, what their position is in this world.
B. The non believer the person who has not accepted God’s free gift of salvation in the person of Jesus Christ is going to be judge for that rejection of God. But the person who has accepted Jesus is also going to be judge. They are going to be judged how faithful they were to what God called them to. Here Paul was faithful to the people he had been called to take the good news too and so was Peter.
C. God is also going to judge his followers far as if they obeyed him in what he told them to do. If Jesus is Lord of your life in some way and far as that issue goes he tells you to do something you can’t say no Lord because if you say no his Lordship is not running your life. For example if some person says they want to be a missionary. Then God calls them to Mexico they can’t say no Lord I don’t want to go to Mexico.
D. The child will also be judge for their relationship with God. Now when we receive Jesus the most important relationship in our lives has started which I believe can never be lost but you will be judge if you had an ongoing relationship with God. Did you live for him or did you fall back into sin that you didn't repent of. The good news is while we are living we can always repent of the sin in our lives and turn away from it.
Now when you die you are either going to be judged for rejecting God’s gift of salvation in Jesus or you are going to be judged what you did after you received salvation. Either way the answer is to go to Jesus. If you have never come to him today just ask him to come into your life. If you know Jesus but for whatever reason you aren't living for him repent. Tell Jesus you are sorry and with his help you are going to start living for him.

Job of Fathers and how Children Should Treat Them

Sunday, June 20, 2010
Happy Father’s Day to all of you fathers. I hope it a blessed and good one for you.
What job has God given to fathers and how should children treat them.
Ephesians 6:1-4 -
If you are still a child you need to do what your parents say or don’t do what they say not to do. As a youth worker it drives me nuts when kids have an attitude or aren’t respectful. Young people if you are ever that way I hope your father, or mother or whoever is raising you will get the paddle, belt, or wooden spoon and spank your butt good or ground you for along time.
Now there are times when children don’t have to obey their parents, young people if your parents ever tell you to sin you don’t have to obey them like I use to do youth parties at my old church for fifth/sixth graders and third through sixth grade boys. I told the children they needed do what us leaders told them to do and not to do what we told them not to do unless we tell you to rob a bank which of course we didn’t tell them to do. So young people if anyone ever tells you to sin including a leader, teacher you don’t have to and you shouldn’t obey them.
Vs. 4 Fathers you need to discipline your children. Now discipline doesn’t mean abuse. Discipline should show young people that if they do this or that this is what will happen. A TV show I like to watch is World’s Stricted parents. In the show they have two teens who don’t listen to their parents so they are sent to live with some other parents for a week. These other parents are strict unlike the real parents. They punish the children by making them do push ups, or digging a hole, or some other kind of work. The real parents take a lot from the kids but the strict parents don’t. Fathers you need to discipline your children when they don’t respect others or have an attitude. If your child gives somebody a hard time you should remind them by showing them the belt is not just for holding their pants up.
Fathers it is your job to lead your family spirituality. You should not only take your kids to Sunday School you should go too. You should lead the family in Bible study. You should show your kids it is cool to talk to God and about . It is primary your job to impact your kids for Jesus. Yes you should take them to a good Bible based youth group, church, and Sunday School but it is not the job of others to see your young people impacted for and with the good news.
If you have not had a good father the day you put your faith in Jesus God becomes your father. He loves you no matter what you do. God as your father will give you spiritual spankings but he will never abuse you.
A Blessed Fathers Day. Don’t if your father is living to wish him a happy Father’s Day I wish I could still do that to mine but at least I know where he is.

The Christian Life Is Impossible
Last week we looked at Gal. 1:10. This week we are going to remain in Gal. 1: and look at verses 11 and 12
Galatians 1:11-12 - reads 11I want you to know, brothers, that the gospel I preached is not something that man made up. 12I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ.
So what can we learn from these verses?
A. The Christian faith and the gospel comes from God. I heard this preacher once say the Christian life isn't hard apart from Jesus Christ no the Christian life is impossible without having Jesus in your life. Where there is no Jesus there is no Christian life you can have a religious good moral life but not a Christian life apart from Jesus. Today there are a lot of man made gospels. What is a man made gospel anything that teaches that salvation comes through something or someone else besides the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ. There are some including some churches that teach salvation comes through a church or doing good works. Eph. 2:8-9 It is by grace you have been saved through faith not by works so no one can boast.
B. another thing we can learn from these verses the key to somebody getting saved is the Holy Spirit of God showing them Jesus. We can teach people all the correct doctrine all the best church programs in the world but if God’s spirit doesn’t show one that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. The key to the Christian life is Jesus.
